Our Roots: A 100-Year Legacy
The “Gauri Shankar” name is synonymous with reliability in the Indian business landscape. Our journey began over 100 years ago with Gauri Shankar & Sons, founded by our visionary great-grandfather, Mr. Gauri Shankar Gupta. What started as a local enterprise in Bhogal, Jangpura, grew exponentially under the stewardship of his sons and grandsons, becoming a cornerstone of the community and a testament to the power of ethical business practices.
Building on this solid foundation, the family expanded into the industrial sector 40 years ago with Gauri Shankar Steel Corp., led by Mr. Sanjay Goyal and Mr. Rajiv Goel. For four decades, this division has mastered the complexities of the domestic market, reinforcing our reputation for delivering quality with precision.
